Ageron a Paris, circa 1780. Fine 18K gold and enamel watch. Double body, Louis XVI, the bezel chased with interlaced decoration, the back enamel panel painted with a courting couple in a landscape, outer raised wreath of enamelled foliage. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the back plate. Diam. 40 mm.
