Elgin National Watch Co. , No. 15394104, made for the U.S. Navy, Service Number 4104, circa 1940.Fine silver keyless pocket lever chronometer, with40 hour power reserve indication, in original fitted double body mahogany deck box. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, the back engraved with the Service Number. Hinged silver cuvette. Silvered with Arabic numerals, outer minute ring, sunk subsidiary seconds and Up-and-Down scale. Blued steel "spade" hands.
