Three body, Louis XVI, polished, the back with engraved interlaced decoration centred with a painted enamel portrait of a lady within a split-pearl set frame, disclosing a painted enamel panel on a concealed compartment, depicting a monk discovering the hidden face of the Holy Spirit. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gilt brass hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece.Signed on the back plate.Diam. 39 mm.
