Attributable to Fran? ois Nicole, Geneva, circa 1810.Very fine and rare 18K gold and enamel, diamond-set harp with music. Finely painted musical trophies on the back of the enamelled main sound chest, blue flinqu? enamelled side panels with white enamel border and centred with finely chased quivers within navette frames, engraved and enamel main post, capped by pearl set decoration, with wire-wound gold strings and diamond set end caps. Brass tapered full plate with cylindrical pillars, concealed in the sound chest, playing at will with pinned barrel and seven stacked steel tuned teeth.Dim. 74 x 44 mm.
