White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, outer Arabic minutes, subsidiary sunk seconds, gold "Louis XV" hands. 23’’’, matte-gilded, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring, jeweled to the center, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band, repeating mechanism entirely on the pillar plate under the dial.Signed on the movement.Diam. 63 mm. Notes This type of repetition that could be added to practically any movement was invented by A. Lugrin and patented in Switzerland in August 1899, patent No. 13803 (deposited on Feb. 3, 1897).
