Contetout, Vers-Chez-Grosjean, Swiss, circa 1920. Fine and rare 18K gold keyless chronograph watch with patented 24-hour recorder. Four-body, "bassine", polished, gold hinged cuvette. Notes On June 2, 1915, John Reymond filed for a patent for concentric minute and hour recorders. The design proved successful and Reymond sold a number of watches under the name "Contetout" between 1910 and the 1920's.
