Double body, "Directoire", with split pearl-set bezels, the enamel back panel with a very fine painted scene, depicting Demeter and Ceres on a blue translucent ground over engine-turning. White enamel with Arabic numerals. Gold Breguet hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steelend-piece.Signed on the dial and back plate.Diam. 59 mm (glazed protecting case).
