Swiss Beauties Moulinié Frères & Ce, a Genève, circa 1830. Fine and unusual 18K gold and painted on enamel slim watch. Two-body, scalloped edge, divided into 22 lobes, each with a miniature enamel portrait of a woman in the traditional costume of one of the 22 Swiss cantons, represented on the bezel by their coat of arms in small enameled cartouches, lower parts of the lobes with gold leaf decoration on black enamel background, center painted on enamel with Alpine scene with Mont Blanc in the middle. Gold, champlevé Roman numerals separated by engraved leaves, outer minute divisions within azure enamel trak, center decorated with leaf rosette of white enamel. Blued steel narrow "spade" hands. 32 mm., hinged, atypical construction of three plates over milled plate, cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance with flat balance spring.Signed on the movement.Diam. 47 mm.
