Fine gilt brass single-hand oignon watch with silver cock. wo-body, oignon type, chased with Galatea seated on her chariot drawn by dolphins, with putti blowing a horn. 47.5 mm., hinged, gilt full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel balance with flat balance spring, large oignon-type silver cock, pierced and engraved wth Orpheus playing the lyre, while putti accompanies him on a flute and violin.Signed on the movement.Diam. 58 mm. Notes Jean-François Kynderen (also Kinderen or Kindren)A Master in 1714, he is recorded in Paris in the rue de Fourcy in 1748. He signed "Kynderen à Paris" or "Kindren à Paris".
