The Minstrel Julien LeRoy, Paris, No. 2183, circa 1750. Very fine 18K gold and painted on enamel watch. Two-body, Louis XV, back with painted on enamel scene depicting a gentleman sitting at a table while another young man plays the mandolin, a cask in front, bezels with floral enamel decoration. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers, winding aperture between 3 and 4 o’clock. Gold "Louis XV" hands. 35 mm, hinged, frosted gilt full-plate with pentagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, steel balance with flat balance spring, micrometric potence adjustment, continental cock.Signed on the movement.
