Japanned looking glass in the Queen Anne style (ca. 1720-1750), the cyma-curved wood frame exhibiting the lacquer technique known as japanning, decorated with chinoiserie bird and foliate painted motifs. Wire attached to hardware mounts at back for hanging. Approximate height 38.25", width 18", depth 1". Provenance: From the Estate of Henry G. Muecke Jr., Atlanta, Georgia.
