CS Longchamp in Ginevra, made for the Spanish market, circa 1840. Fine 18K gold and painted on enamel lady’s pendant watch. Five-body, front with painted on enamel couple in medieval costume, a castle in the background, champlevé enamel border, back with flower bouquet, gold hinged cuvette, engraved “Longchamp in Geneva” with Lake Geneva and mountains in the background. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Gold “Breguet” hands. 29 mm (13’’’), frosted gilt, 6 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance with flat balance-spring.Diam. 35 mm.
