Fleur-de-Lis Maurice Ditisheim, Chaux-de-Fonds, No. 6824/10666, circa 1900. Very fine 18K gold and painted on enamel, diamond-, and pearl-set hunting-cased keyless minute- repeating watch with subsidiary and center seconds. Six-body, “bassine et filets”, predominately with translucent Imperial blue enamel over engine-turning with paillon fleur-de-lis, front with a medallion depicting a lady and gentleman in a garden surmounted and flanked by diamond-set fleur-de-lis, back en suite with painted portrait of a lady with gold fleur-de-lis, pearl-set bezels, gold hinged cuvette over glazed gold bezel for viewing the movement. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, outermost seconds track divided into fifths with radial Arabic beat counts, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold “Louis XV” hands. 44 mm (20’’’), frosted gilt, 30 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, “swan-neck” micrometric regulator, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Case punched with maker’s trademark registered on April 4, 1892.Diam. 56 mm.
