Joseph Allamand, Swiss, circa 1880. Very fine, 18K gold, keyless, double-train independent dead seconds pocket watch with special dial and chronometer balance. Four-body, “bassine et filets”, back engine-turned in vermicelli pattern and engraved with initials “AI”,gold glazed cuvette. Glass, blue painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued-steel “spade” hands.
