Outer: protective, two-body, tortoiseshell covered gilt brass, glazed on the back. MiddlEtwo-body, back repoussé in high relief with a scene depicting David playing the harp before King Saul, bezels in rocaille pattern, inner: two-body, “bassine” with deep back, polished. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer arcaded minute division with five-minute Arabic figures. Gold “Louis XV” hands. 33 mm, gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, Dutch-type cock.Signed on the movement.Diam. 52 mm.
