Boxell, Brighton, French, No. 1415, circa 1900. Fine gilt bronze eight day going, hour and half hour striking, hour repeating carriage clock. Gilt bronze, "Anglaise", glazed four faces and top. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass rectangular with going barrels both for the going and the striking trains, silvered platform with lateral lever escapement, uncut bimetallic balance, flat balance spring, striking and repeating on gongs with button at the top. Signed on the dial. Dim. 14,5 x 9,5 x 8 cm, excluding the handle.
