E. G., Brevete S.G.D.G., France, circa 1890. Very fine "mignonnette" carriage clock with porcelain panels. Glazed gilt bronze "Gorge", engraved with formal decoration with glazed top, back and side porcelain panels painted with butterflies, dragonflies and flowers within bordeaux and gilt frames. Porcelain, decorated en suite with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. Brass eight-clay going with going barrel, platform with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued-steel flat balance spring. In very good condition. Dim. 8,5 x 6 x 5 cm. excluding the handle.
