"Trusty" (Barbezat-Baillot, Locle), made for the Chinese Market, with London hallmarks for 1895. Fine 18K gold and enamel, pearl-set, keyless minute repeating watch with chronograph. Four body, "bassine et filets" with split pearls set bezels, the back of blue enamel, centred with a painted scene depicting a young couple in 18th century dress, in a landscape. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. 18"", gilt brass, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with fly regulator and push piece in the band. Chronograph with visible work, the button in the band. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dian. 56 mm.
