Johan Sachs a Vienne, circa 1780. Very fine gilt brass "hump-back" travelling clock with alarm, in original red leather fitted box. Gilt brass "hump-back" , polished with four cylindrical feet and a folding handle on the top. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and central gilt brass alarm setting disc. Gilt brass Louis XV hands. Gilt brass dial plate entirely engraved with flowers and foliage. Gilt brass shaped full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Alarm on a bell concealed on the base. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 15 x 8 x 7,5 cm.
