Pierre Francois Des Roches & Fils, Geneve, circa 1760. Very fine silver triple case, quarter repeating coach watch with alarm. Double body outer, leather covered with silver pique-work decoration (damaged), double body second, the border pierced and engraved with inhabited foliage. Double body inner bassine, the back pierced with a floral decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and central gilt brass alarm setting disc. Blued steel pierced Louis XV hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass Louis XV continental cock with ruby end-stone. Pull wind quarter repeating on a bell. Alarm train with going barrel, striking on a bell. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 117 mm.
