Moricand & Degranges a Geneve, No. 53103, circa 1830. Fine 18K gold, turquoise and ruby-set watch. Double body, entirely covered by a beaded decoration the back in a scalloped pattern set with turquoises and rubies. Gold engine-turned with Breguet numerals. Blued steel "scoties" hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass threearm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial and back plate. Diam. 42 mm.
