Jean Rousseau Tulip-form Gilt-brass and Rock Crystal Watch, Switzerland, c. 1640, engraved brass dial mat, silvered dial with Roman numerals, engraved center and single pierced brass hand, brass movement marked with maker's name with chain fusee, crown wheel, and verge escapement, pierced steel balance cock and vase-turned foot, the chased gilt case with three hinged rock crystal apertures within silver bezels, ht. 55 mm, dial dia. 23 mm. perimeter chips on upper portion of one crystal, movement appears to be complete, gilt surface in good condition.
