Winter & Son Brass Mining Dial, Newcastle on Tyrne, 19th century, the inner scale of the signed gimbaled compass having four quadrants, outer scale 0-360 with vernier, the compass case with aperture and vernier, twin bubble levels, sighting quadrant with index arm, main frame with sighting vanes, and two supports for telescope (missing), with tripod mount and four adjusting screw feet.
