Robert Motherwell (American, 1915-1991) Gauloises bleues, 1968, edition of 75 plus proofs (Belknap & Terenzio, 33). Signed "Motherwell" in pencil l.r., numbered "44/75" in pencil l.l. Aquatint with collage on paper, plate size 10 x 5 3/8 in. (25.3 x 13.5 cm), framed. Condition: Margins 1 inch or more, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the sheet measures 20 3/4 x 14 3/8 in. The publisher's drystamp is in the lower left corner, and the lower edge is deckled. The frame measures about 23 1/4 x 15 3/4 x 1 1 /2 in.
