Samuel V. Chamberlain (American, 1895-1975) Senlis from a Crow's Nest, the only impression of the first state (Chamberlain & Kingsland, 110). Signed by Narcissa G. Chamberlain in pencil l.r., inscribed "Only First State" in pencil in the artist's hand l.l. Drypoint on paper, plate size 13 7/8 x 11 1/8 in. (35.2 x 28.2 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: All but the right edge deckled, subtle soiling, annotations to lower margin, minor handling creases. Provenance: Through the family of the artist.
