Alexis Paul Arapoff (American, 1904-1948) Still Life with Flowers and Candle Signed "Arapoff" l. l., inscribed "PERTZOFF" in crayon and "MRS. CONSTANTIN A. PERTZOFF/ BEDFORD ROAD/ LINCOLN, MASSACHUSETTS" on a label affixed to the stretcher. Tempera on canvas, 38 x 28 in. (96.5 x 71.1 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime, craquelure, surface imperfections, pigment fluorescence. Heavy surface dust and accretions--would benefit from a cleaning; craquelure.
