Orlando Rouland (American, 1871-1945) On Fifth Avenue Signed "Orlando Rouland" l. l. and on the reverse, identified on a label from the Allied Artists of America (see below) affixed to the reverse. Oil on artist board, 12 x 16 in. (30.5 x 40.6 cm), framed. Condition: Minor surface grime. Exhibitions: Allied Artists of America, Eighteenth Annual Exhibition, 1931. Knicks and wear to artist board with a small loss (1/8 x 3/8 in.) l.r. edge. Fine abrasion measuring about 1 1/4 in. l.l. quadrant in brown fur collar. Surface grime overall, with drips of dried brown liquid scattered on the left side.
