Inkstone Ruyi Scepter, China, possibly Kangxi period, the ruyi head carved in relief with a pair of scaly dragons confronting "Yu Ci" (given by the imperial court) characters, the handle carved and gilded with dragons, bats, and a shou roundel, the reverse carved with inscriptions "Song Yan Du Huo Yuan Xiang Tai Shou" and "Kangxi yichou nian Xin'an Tang An Yi Shui Fa Jian Zhi," lg. 12 7/8 in. Repair to the area connecting the ruyi head to the body
