Pair of matching hand carved and gilt figural wall brackets with shaped top with ribbed undulating apron supported by feathered wings of bird, likely phoenix, eating fruit and berries at end of C scrolls and leaves, animal holding fruit in dangling claw. Unmarked. Approximate height 20", width 14.25", depth 10". Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia.
