Westerwald-type Stoneware Tankard, Germany, flat pewter lid with touchmarks and thumbpiece, squat neck and bulbous body with molded lion head medallions and cobalt blue decoration, and strap handle terminating in a scroll, ht. 7 1/4 in. Lacking three lion heads, chip to base and at inner rim.
