Inlaid Mahogany and Ivory Desk/Chest, 19th/20th century, with rectangular top over conforming case fitted with pull-out writing surface and fitted with valenced compartments over four drawers, centered by marquetry decorated cupboard with gilt metal angel relief, over three drawers on bracket feet, ht. 43 1/4, wd. 46 1/2, dp. 20 in. Popping to string inlay and veneer along top edges, fold-down writing surface no longer completely open, several ivory pulls broken, scattered nicks, chips, scratches, and age typical wear.
