Rhinoceros Horn Cup, China, 17th/18th century, carved in the form of an archaic ritual bronze chueh, deep amber honey color with high translucency, surface carved with Tao Tieh masks, archaic scrolling, and thunder meander patterns, ht. 5 3/4, lg. 6 1/2 in. Worn chip to the front of the spout; two minor chips to the rim; handle possibly restuck; faint slit line on one leg.
