French Art Nouveau Carved Walnut and Marble-top Pedestal, c. 1900, with square, inset top support on four undulating legs with high small shelf and joined by a circular shelf stretcher with shaped paneling, on splayed feet, ht. 48, wd. of marble 7 1/2, wd. of base 17 1/2 in. Some dark staining to lower shelf and with side to side shrinkag crack; good color and carving; nice design; age typical addtional minor defects.
