Rare and Unusual Doulton Lambeth Terracotta Figure "The Jester", c. 1900, modeled by George Tinworth, signed to right side of pedestal and inscribed to base, depicting a bemused Jester staring at a similarly accounted hand puppet over his left shoulder, ht. 11 1/4 in. Restorations to one of the jester's drops (back) at back of cap, and on the backside to thanhandle of the puppet and "tail" of cap. Horizontal firing lines surrounding body just above the stepped base.
