Likely Turkish, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Collection of two hand carved meerschaum smoking pipes with scaled dragon claws with pointed talons grasping cups, each contained in fitted hinged cases. One with circular patterning in cup in lighter color, produced by SMS; one with darker brownish red color. Approximate length of lighter colored pipe 5.75". Approximate length of darker pipe 4.75".
