Three Small Makah Lidded Baskets, Washington State, early 20th century, two round, one with red decoration of ducks within horizontal bands, dia. 4 1/2, the other with black horizontal bands and blue silk lining, dia. 3, the third oval, the sides with purple and burnt umber ducks and stylized canoes, interior of base with silk liner, lg. 5 3/8 in. red ducks: break at rim of lid approx. 1/2 the circumference. the others good, with minor age wear and soiling. all with exterior fading.
