Two Japanese Meiji Period Carved Ivory Animal Okimono, early 20th century, the first depicting a large frog being pulled on a lily pad sled by two other frogs; second depicting a weasel or ferret with long tail, each with carved wood bases, lg. 3 and 4 1/4 in., respectively. Frog group: middle frog has a crack at the neck, possibly a natual fissure, else very good to excellent. Weasel: dry surface, else very good.
