Two George III Sterling Silver Bun Pepper Casters, London, one 1795, Henry Cowper, maker, engraved with wrigglework band, and with crest within laurel wreath, the other 1804, John Emes, maker, engraved with leafy pendants, both oval, with reticulated lids, and reeded trumpet feet, ht. 3 in., approx. 3 troy oz. Cowper example with lid denting, and ding at waist. Emes with denting to body. both with age wear to engraving. marks good.
