Doulton Lambeth Salt-glaze Mantel Vase, dated 1883, by Florence E. Barlow, Lucy A. Barlow, and W. Baron, assisted by Eleanor Burrell, with flared lip and high shoulder, the body decorated with panels of leafy foliage modeled in relief on a textured ground; the surround modeled in relief and in intaglio with songbirds perched on leafy branches, signed by Florence Barlow to front, ht. 15 1/4 in. Very good condition throughout with no cracks, chips or restorations.
