Large Doulton Lambeth Salt-glaze Stoneware Beer Pitcher, dated 1876, by Hannah B. Barlow, Florence E. Barlow, and Mary Ann Thomson, numbered 538, with medium brown ground, ear handle and tapered body, the borders decorated with leaftips in tones of blue and brown, central scene of grazing cattle and sheep, ht. 14 in. Small glaze loss (3/16") to one of the lower turquoise border lozenges; else very good throughout.
