Frank Reinhart (1862-1929) Four Gelatin Prints, "Chief Revenger," Crow; "Mattie Tom," Apache; "Chief Red Shirt," Cheyenne; and "Clear Sioux"; mounted on cardstock and matted, image size 7 x 9 1/4 in. Provenance: Photos taken at the Trans-Mississippi and International Exposition held in Omaha, Nebraska, from June 1 through October 31, 1898. Reinhart was hired by the Bureau of American Ethnology to be the official photographer.
