George III Style Mahogany Serpentine Desk, late 19th century, with serpentine top and case fitted with two long over six short cockbeaded drawers, on bracket feet, ht. 30, wd. 45, dp. 22 1/2 in. Top with scattered dark staining and water damage with two areas of popping veneers including one with minor losses; one inch veneer chip to right front of frieze and top left drawer with minor loss to cockbeading; appears to be deliberate wear throughout base; age typical minor additional defects.
