Early Georgian Walnut Game Table, second quarter 18th century, rectangular top with outset rounded corners opening to a felt-lined playing surface with chip wells and candle "corners"; small frieze drawer above a shell-carved apron, shell-carved cabriole legs ending in faceted pad feet, ht. 28 1/2, wd. 33, dp. 16 in. Top with minor warping preventing a flush fit to base but not severe at all; veneer chips to right of apron drawer but most pieces present; minor chipping to edges to apron and scatttered old fill-in repairs as well; left front foot with old loss to left side; age typical addtional minor defects.
