American Sterling Overlay Earthenware Teapot, early 20th century, the ovoid cobalt blue glazed pot with removable infuser, mounted with sterling overlay of leaves to spout and ear handle, and to sides with an orchid and monogrammed cartouche respectively, ht. 5 3/4 in. star crack to interior base of pot, with associated cracks in silver of underside. lid with two hairlines to sides. infuser with rim loss, and a vertical hairline. body with horizontal hairline below handle approx. 2".
