Five Russian Goldwashed Silver, Red Enamel and Niello Thimble Cups, Moscow, 1892, maker's mark AE, assayer Anatoli Apollonovich Artsibashev, also with Austro-Hungarian import mark, tapered cylindrical, comprising a pair engraved with straight lambrequins enclosing flowers and pebbling, a pair engraved with curved lambrequins enclosing vines and wrigglework, and a single example engraved with rocaille, ht. 1 1/2 in., approx 5 troy oz. good, with minor craquelure to surface of red enameling. minor age wear and tarnish. one with very light rim nicks. all engraved with monogram A.R. to underside of bases.
