Tiffany Sterling Silver Trophy Cup, 1879, with applied bow and wreath decoration, inscribed "1st Handicap New York Racquet Court Club won by S. Leavett Jr. 1879, (losses), approx. 19 troy oz. The piece is stamped Tiffany & Co. makers Sterling Silver 925-1000 on the base. The piece is inscripbed on the bottom plate. The finial is missing as appears to be part of the attached decorative piece of the side. Ht. approx. 6 1/2 in.
