Caneware Commemorative Jug, England, c. 1800, the molded body with wide central band having an orange peel ground and decorated in relief, to one side a figure of Britannia and an angel blowing a horn, the reverse believed to be Nelson riding a shell pulled by sea horses, a ship below the spout, ht. 7 in. Shallow 1/4" chip to the side of the spout.
