24-inch Brass Astrolabe, 20th century, the engraved mater with limb marked in degrees, the tympanum with circles of altitude and azimuth, rotating plate and alidade with pinnule sights, back side engraved with calendar around the perimeter and scales for angle measurement suspended by a brass ring on a 3/4 circle throne.
