Berliner Gramophone and patd. dates from 1887-1895, metal plaque of Berliner Gramophone Co., Philadelphia, PA. , straight-flared black horn and leather elbow, base 9 1/2 x 15 1/2 in., (wear on bronzed finish, later soundbox), and Berliner 7 in. record No. 1731 She Never Did Anything Twice by Dan M. Quinn. Note: The first Berliner Gramophone manufactured in America, from late 1894. A smaller model, for 5-inch records, had been made in Germany as a toy from 1890.
