Mahogany Chippendale-style Tall Clock, attributed to Elliott, London, composite brass dial with silvered chapter ring and Arabic numerals and marked Bigelow Kennard & Co. Boston , "Strike-Silent" subsidiary dial in the arch, applied cast brass spandrels and engraved center, hollow pediment hood with fluted columns flanking the dial door, fluted waist columns, raised panel door and base all on a pad foot, eight-day time and gong strike movement with deadbeat escapement, two brass-cased weights and pendulum, ht. 91 1/4 in. Period pendulum and two brass cased weights, movement needs cleaning, one loose hood element needing re-gluing.
